The global centre for art, fashion and culture, Paris has a rich history and is considered the cultural capital of the world making it a must see destination for millions of tourists each year.

The Louvre

The Louvre in Paris is the largest and one of the most famous museums in the world welcoming over 8 million visitors to its exhibits each year. The museum displays over 35,000 works of art over eight cultural departments. H.AZEEM London was commissioned to design a jewellery souvenir for the Islamic Art Gallery.

Design Inspiration

Our design team studied the 'vegetal' motifs and patterns found on various ceramic pieces in the museum's Islamic art collection. By analyzing the common shapes and colors within these patterns, the team developed designs that captured the essence of the original artwork and informed the selection of gemstones to be used.

The Collection

The finished collection featured a commercially-viable range of jewellery that combined bold, statement-making designs with everyday wearability. The recognizable pieces drew direct inspiration from Islamic patterns and motifs, but were ultimately crafted to be not only beautiful but commercially appealing.

We have developed a great partnership with H.AZEEM London over the years, we appreciate their attention to detail and their creative approach in developing us some wonderful inspiring jewellery for many of our shops located across Scotland, including our Crown Jewel shop inside Edinburgh Castle.
